Education Minister: Schools nationwide set to open in stages from March 1

PETALING JAYA: Schools nationwide are set to reopen from March, says Education Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.

He said that pre-school, Year One and Year Two students will resume face-to-face classes on March 1 while Year Three to Year Six students will return on March 8.

As for secondary schools, all students in Johor Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu will return on April 4 while students in other states will return on April 5.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday (Feb 19) to announce the dates, Mohd Radzi urged everyone to follow the standard operating procedures when they return to face-to-face classes.
