Role of radio in country's development deserves recognition, says Saifuddin on World Radio Day


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The contribution and role of radio in disseminating government messages and agenda towards the country’s development should always be recognised, says Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

The Communications and Multimedia Minister said that in line with the theme of the World Radio Day (WRD) 2021 celebration,"New World, New Radio", by the United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (Unesco), radio played an important role, especially in disseminating the latest information to listeners and society.
