Cops detain 68 for illegal gambling in Dang Wangi


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 68 people - including 52 Chinese nationals - were detained in the city for being involved in illegal online gambling throughout the movement control order.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said that police personnel conducted 12 raids in the area targeting online gambling dens and call centres used by the syndicates between Jan 13 and Feb 7.
