Most used to new norms, some still stubborn


GEORGE TOWN: After a year of fighting against Covid-19, many Malaysians are getting used to new norms such as putting on face masks in public areas, maintaining physical distancing, and sanitising their hands frequently – but there are still some holdouts.

Customer service supervisor Noorasmarane Mawi, 44, said she now feels weird if she doesn’t wear a mask when going out.
