THE Works Ministry has come up with a list of frequently asked questions regarding construction activities in areas placed under the movement control order.

Construction Sector

Q: Is the construction sector subject to all MCO regulations?

A: Yes, all operations and activities of the construction sector in areas under the MCO are required to comply with the relevant MCO standard operating procedure (SOP).

Q: Is construction work in the states under the MCO allowed to operate?

A: Construction work must be temporarily halted, though exceptions are given for work listed under essential services, such as:
