Anwar and Shafie call for end to Emergency

PETALING JAYA: Two Opposition leaders want Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to end the Emergency and begin an all-party peace deal to avoid calling a general election until the Covid-19 pandemic is brought under control.

PKR president and Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is spearheading an effort to get the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to call off the Emergency.
