Floods worsen in Terengganu and Kelantan

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The flood situation in Terengganu and Kelantan has worsened, with more people evacuated to relief centres Thursday (Jan 7) evening while the number of evacuees dropped in Pahang and Johor.

In Terengganu, head of the state disaster management committee secretariat, Lt Col (PA) Che Adam A Rahman said as of 3pm, the number of people evacuated to relief centres in the state rose to 8,138, up from 5,243 Thursday morning.
