Sabah hits the pause button on countdown parties

KOTA KINABALU: Private organisations and state departments in Sabah have chosen to forego massive New Year’s Eve parties in favour of staying safe during the pandemic.

Sutera Harbour Resort, known for its great countdown parties with fireworks and which has hosted deejays, local celebrities and crowds in the thousands, has decided to hit the pause button this year.
