KUALA LUMPUR: The Enhanced MCO at Flat Persiaran Paya Terubong, Relau, Mukim 13, in Penang has ended ahead of schedule on Sunday (Dec 27).
Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the area was initially put under enhanced MCO from Dec 7 until Dec 31.
"The Health Ministry has conducted 5,585 screenings on the residents, and 113 positive cases were recorded.
"The trend of positive cases there is on the decline.
"Based on advice from the Health Ministry, we have decided to end the enhanced MCO on Dec 27, ahead of schedule," he said in a statement on Sunday.
