PUTRAJAYA: The directive for employers to have their foreign workers screened for Covid-19 will be enforced under Act 342, so that action can be taken against those who fail to comply, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Announcing that the ruling would take effect on Jan 1, the Senior Minister said the National Security Council (NSC) special meeting has decided to make it compulsory for employers to bear the quarantine and treatment costs for their foreign workers who tested positive for Covid-19.
