Several MPs claim Batu MP was in Parliament when he should have been under quarantine


KUALA LUMPUR: Several MPs want action taken against Batu MP P. Prabakaran (pic) for attending THE Dewan Rakyat last Thursday (Dec 10), claiming that he should have been in home quarantine after allegedly coming into close contact with a Covid-19 patient.

"We cannot take the matter lightly ... I request the Speaker refer him to Parliament's Rights and Privileges Committee," Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Dec 17).
