KOTA KINABALU: The RM11.26mil federal funding for the Heart of Borneo (HoB) conservation initiative has earned the thumbs up of state assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.
He said the HoB initiative has provided Sabah with a framework for state-wide sustainable development plans, whereby newly protected areas have increased the overall connectivity in Sabah's networks of forests.
