Perak Umno to remain in Perikatan coalition (updated)


KUALA LUMPUR: Despite talks of forming an unlikely alliance with Pakatan Harapan in Perak, Umno has decided to remain in the state Perikatan Nasional coalition.

In a press statement issued by Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan to the media who gathered in anticipation of the supreme council meeting on Monday (Dec 7), he said the decision was made after the hour-long meeting.
