Budget 2021: Allocations for three more ministries passed at committee stage in Dewan Rakyat

KUALA LUMPUR: The Budget 2021 allocations for three more ministries have been passed in Parliament.

They are the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry, International Trade and Industry Ministry, and Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry.

The International Trade and Industries Ministry, headed by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, was first passed via bloc voting, with 110 voting for and 104 voting against.

The other ministries - Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, and Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs - were passed via a simple voice vote in Parliament on Thursday (Dec 3).

Allocations under Budget 2021 for 11 ministries have been passed this week.

Allocations for 16 ministries will go through debates at the committee stage in Parliament until Dec 15.
