Opposition MPs lose second bloc vote, this time for Finance Ministry allocations (updated)

KUALA LUMPUR: A second attempt by the Opposition to call for a bloc vote to vote down allocations for the Finance Ministry at the committee stage of Budget 2021 failed.

This was because 107 MPs voted for the allocations for the Finance Ministry to be approved compared to 95 who voted against. There were 18 MPs absent when the vote was taken.
