Residents are urging the Health Ministry to ensure the facility is secure before turning it into a Covid-19 quarantine centre.

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Health Ministry has been urged to secure and erect barriers around the National Leprosy Control Centre before turning it into a Covid-19 quarantine centre.

Sungai Buloh Settlement Council (SBSC) president Tan Heng said that majority of the residents living in the area are senior citizens and former leprosy patients who are at greater risk of contracting Covid-19.
