Water supply to come back from 3pm Wednesday (Nov 11)


PETALING JAYA: Water supply will be restored in stages starting 3pm on Wednesday (Nov 11), says Air Selangor.

"Sungai Selangor water treatment plants Phase 1,2, 3 and Rantau Panjang have started operations since 2.40am, Nov 11, after the reading of 0 TON (threshold odour number) was recorded three times in a row," it said in a statement.

Air Selangor said it had conducted water quality checks and ensured no odour were detected at the water treatment plants.

“Air Selangor is working to stabilise the distribution system before water supply can be restored to users, ” it said.
