PETALING JAYA: Selangor is facing its latest water disruption after odour pollution detected at Sungai Selangor has stopped operations at several of the state's water treatment plants.
Air Selangor in a 3pm statement on Nov 10 said the pollution has caused operations at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1,2, 3 and Rantau Panjang treatment plants to be stopped.
This has resulted in an unscheduled water disruption for 1,139,008 accounts in 1,279 areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat.
