Health Ministry: Conditional MCO has effectively cut down infection rates

PETALING JAYA: Conditional movement control order (MCO) imposed on areas that registered high numbers of Covid-19 cases has been effective bringing down infection rates (RO), says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general said while measures might not be as strict as a full MCO, measures that limited social interactions managed to bring down the R0 value from 2.2 in September to just 1 today (Nov 4).
