Cops cripple drug syndicate with 12 arrests, RM822,000 worth of drugs seized

GEORGE TOWN: Police crippled a major drug trafficking syndicate with the arrest of 12 suspects and the seizure of RM822,000 worth of drugs in nine raids conducted in Penang, Kedah and Perak.

"The suspects are aged between 22 and 46 and were arrested in raids conducted from Oct 27 to Oct 28, ” said Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department deputy director Deputy Comm Zainudin Ahmad.
