MEMBERS of new local group Dolla have received brickbats for their sexy dance moves, which some have compared to K-pop entertainers, reported Harian Metro.
Despite the criticism, their Make You Wanna music video managed to attract over 1.9 million views on YouTube.
Members of the group, Sabrina a.k.a. Sabronzo, Tabby, Angel and Syasya, have resolved to “remain calm” despite the criticism.
Sabronzo said they could accept criticism and condemnation, but would ignore those going “overboard” with their comments on social media.
Sabronzo said they were aware that Dolla was being compared to Korea’s Blackpink group because of their allegedly similar sexy dance moves.
“But we are striving to create our own identity, ” she said.
> Villagers in Kampung Gual Rimau in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, have waited for over half a century to get electricity supply, as election promises over the years remained unfulfilled, reported Kosmo!Villagers claimed during election campaigns over the years that many parties made empty promises that they would help light up their village.
Villager Ripin Jusoh, 70, said they had been relying on generators.
But they would only switch on the generators at night as it was too costly to run the generator throughout the day.
“Eight litres of diesel costing RM20 can only last three days even when the generator is switched on only at night, ” said Ripin.
He said because of the high cost of running the generators, some villagers had moved to other villages with electricity supply.
Fellow villager Duhaimi Ismail, 50, hoped the authorities would help address their long-standing problem.
