Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and his wife has been discharged from the hospital.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic) and his wife Datin Seri Julia Salag, who were hospitalised for Covid-19, have been discharged on Sunday (Oct 18).

The duo were allowed to return home on Sunday after being hospitalised over a week ago.

Hajiji thanked the doctors and nurses who had done so much to help treat him and his wife as well as other Covid-19 patients in the state.

He advised the public to strictly adhere to SOPs as the nation fights the deadly virus.

"The state government is trying its best to contain the spread of the virus. We must all work together with high discipline to win this battle," he said.

Prior to their hospitalisation, Hajiji had gone into self-quarantine after coming into contact with a Covid-19 positive patient, one of his staff members.

On Oct 9, it was reported that he had been hospitalised together with his wife after they tested positive for the virus.
