Unscheduled water cut to affect six areas in Klang, Shah Alam

PETALING JAYA: An unscheduled water cut due to a burst pipe will affect six areas in Klang and Shah Alam, says Air Selangor.

Air Selangor said the burst pipe was caused by a third party at Jalan Persiaran Jubli Perak, Seksyen 24, Shah Alam on Monday (Oct 12).

"The water supply will stop at 9pm on Oct 12 in order to carry out repair works. It is expected to complete at 9am on Oct 13," Air Selangor said in a statement on Monday.

Air Selangor said six areas in Klang and Shah Alam will be affected by the water disruption including Seksyen 18,19,20,23,24,25 in Shah Alam.

"The water supply in the affected areas is expected to fully resume by 3pm on Tuesday (Oct 13).

"All users will receive the water supply in stages based on the distance of their premises as well as water pressure upon completion of the repair works," it said.

Air Selangor added that the progress of the repair works can be obtained from its official social media channels, its app as well as website.
