Sunway Nexis being disinfected following confirmed Covid-19 case

PETALING JAYA: An occupant at the Sunway Nexis Biz Suites in Kota Damansara has been confirmed to be Covid-19 positive.

According to a statement from the Sunway Nexis Management Corporation management office, the male occupant was now at the Sungai Buloh Hospital receiving treatment.

"Sunway Nexis management shall take all the necessary action and will continue to take any steps necessary to quarantine the affected areas and ensure safety.

"The occupant has also taken all the steps necessary to ensure that the spread is contained, and his (the infected man) premises has been closed to be disinfected thoroughly," said the statement on Tuesday (Sept 29).

The management office also said that they had reported the incident to the Health Ministry via the Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Petaling.

"During these trying moments, we would like to advise all tenants and occupants of Sunway Nexis to remain vigilant and continue to follow standard operating procedures.

"The management would also like to advise those who feel ill to remain at home and refrain from leaving their premises to ensure that the situation and the spread of Covid-19 is contained," the statement read.
