Woman loses RM2,750 to baby adoption scam

KUANTAN: A woman lodged a police report claiming to have lost RM2,750 after being duped in a baby adoption scam.

Pahang Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Supt Mohd Wazir Mohd Yusof said the 41-year-old woman from Benta, Lipis, spoke to a woman over the telephone on Aug 4 on the matter of adopting a baby.
