Covid-19: Passengers on Sept 11 KL to KK Malindo Air flight urged to get tested


PETALING JAYA: Passengers on the Malindo Air flight OD1008 from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu on Friday (Sept 11) are urged to present themselves for Covid-19 screening.

The National Security Council (NSC) shared a notice of the flight, urging passengers from seat 30 to 33 to present themselves for screening.

"Passengers seated in row seat 30 to 33 are urged to contact the Covid-19 operations room Kota Kinabalu area health office at 088-726 352," it said on Wednesday (Sept 16).

On Wednesday, the Health Ministry announced that 59 out of the 61 new locally-transmitted cases were from Sabah.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that three of the 59 cases in Sabah were from Covid-19 screenings entering the state from Peninsular Malaysia.
