Benteng LD cluster spreads to Tawau Prison, seven cases detected, says Health DG (updated)


PUTRAJAYA: The Benteng Lahad Datu (LD) Covid-19 cluster in Sabah has spread to the Tawau Prison some 150km away, with seven cases linked to the cluster.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a convict at the prison who tested positive for Covid-19 on Sept 1 was found to have close links to cases from the Benteng LD cluster.
