PETALING JAYA: Pasir Puteh MP Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh's remarks on the Bible are insensitive and reflect a poor understanding of Islamic teachings on using wisdom in discourse with members of other faiths, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Opposition leader said that when sincere dialogue between Muslims and Christians is initiated, these discussions should be based on a spirit of brotherhood that is encapsulated by the common bond of worshipping God.
