KUALA LUMPUR: E-commerce fraud made up the highest number of scams during the movement control order (MCO) period, with such victims losing about RM17mil in that timeframe, the Dewan Rakyat had been told.
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Mohamed Said said that there were five types of scams that the authorities and police viewed as serious.
