Young girl in fatal fall from condo block

KUALA LUMPUR: A young girl, believed to be about 12 years old, fell to her death from a condominium unit in Desa Park City.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm S. Shanmugamoorthy confirmed the case when contacted on Tuesday (July 28).

"On July 27, the police received word from a man who identified himself as a security guard that a person had fallen from a condominium in Jalan Residen Utama.

"The police arrived at the scene and found the body, which had already been covered with a white cloth.

"The body was located between the parking lot and condominium buildings,"he said.

He added that investigations showed no signs of criminal elements.

"The security guard said that he heard a sound from outside the security room and when he went out to inspect the noise, he saw the body at the scene.

"The case is being investigated under sudden death and a post-mortem will be conducted," he said.
