Dr Wee meets Johor MB to discuss transport issues

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) met with the Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad on Friday (July 10) night to discuss transportation issues.

The Transport Minister said various issues were discussed at Hasni's residence.

The discussion included the latest developments in the Johor Baru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) link project, the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) planning, port development and airport, as well as rail development in the state.

"We also had an in-depth discussion on the logistics sector and on holistic solutions, especially for the delivery of basic necessities through the Johor–Singapore Causeway and the second link to Singapore which is growing rapidly," he said on his Facebook page on Saturday (July 11).

Dr Wee added that he fully supported the leadership of Hasni, who had detailed plans to take Johor to a higher level.
