Marriage comes after career for actor Azlee

ACTOR and model Azlee Khairi (pic) is willing to wait five years to marry his 22-year-old sweetheart, Harian Metro reported.

Azlee, 30, said he wanted a stable career and a stronger financial footing before tying the knot for the second time.

His girlfriend, known only as Aniss, had agreed to wait, he added.

“Of course, I want my (future) wife and kids to live happily,” he said.Azlee, who is known for his role in the Malay drama Love You, Mr Arrogant, said he must focus on building his career first.Azlee divorced his first wife Dayang Norlelawati Puteh, 36, whom he married six years ago.

> Sinar Harian reported that the Perak Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Association (Pematap) had called on all tahfiz operators in the state to identify students who had yet to be screened for Covid-19.

Pematap chairman Mohd Azlan Suhaimi said the list of students returning from other states must

be submitted to the district health offices to facilitate screening before the schools reopen on July 15.

“Sanitisation and screening activities have been done twice at most of the tahfiz registered with the Perak Islamic Religious Department.“Students living in Perak are screened for Covid-19, but those who have returned to their homes in other states have yet to be screened,” he said.

Azlan also urged the tahfiz to set up a special committee to implement and monitor the Education Ministry’s guidelines for the “new normal”.
