MMEA launches search for Indonesian who went overboard in Johor waters

JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has activated a search and rescue operation to find an Indonesian national who fell from a boat near the waters of Tanjung Segenting in Batu Pahat.

Johor MMEA director First Admiral Maritime Aminuddin Abdul Rashid said that the missing victim was a crewmember on a barter boat ferrying mangrove wood from Selat Panjang in Indonesia to Batu Pahat.
