PETALING JAYA: The past three months of Perikatan Nasional as the government have been peaceful as no one is discussing who is the prime minister or who will take over, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

The International Trade and Industry Minister said it was time his former party, PKR, stopped “victimising its members by dragging them between the squabbles" of two individuals who want to be the prime minister.

“PKR has to take responsibility (for those leaving the party).

“There is one person who needs self realisation, ” said Azmin without naming the individual.

He was asked for his views on the exit of PKR leaders including Sementa state assemblyman Dr Daroyah Alwi and grassroots leaders to become independents on June 13.

"Until today, the issue of who will become the PM has yet to be decided on.

“The last three months, no one asked who is the PM. It has been a peaceful three months. If Pakatan enters again, that will be the discussion every day. I am 8, I am 9, I am 10.

"Enough is enough. Let us decide to give our service to the people, ” said Azmin.

He said this to the media after awarding the 2019 excellent service awards to International Trade and Industry Ministry and Standards Department Malaysia employees.
