KOTA ISKANDAR: Johor Pakatan Harapan claims that a number of Perikatan Nasional assemblymen will jump over to its side in “the near future”.
Its chief Aminolhuda Hassan said although it had the numbers, Pakatan would only announce the cross-over at an opportune time.
"We have the numbers from those wanting to support us due to cracks in Perikatan, but we will not take this opportunity to make any move as we feel the time is not right with the Covid-19 pandemic and unstable economy.
"When the time is suitable, we will make the announcement," he told a press conference after the state assembly sitting here on Thursday (May 14).
Aminolhuda added that Pakatan was also heeding the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar's advice not to spread the "disunity virus" among parties.
