Cops re-arrest drunk driver who caused death of officer at roadblock


PETALING JAYA: The lorry driver who crashed into a police roadblock, leading to the death of a corporal, was rearrested shortly after he was released on police bail on Friday (May 8).

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said the suspect's remand ended on Friday following his arrest on Sunday (May 3) under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by driving recklessly.
