Docs: Flu vaccination essential for medical staff

PETALING JAYA: Getting healthcare workers vaccinated against influenza is even more important now as the nation battles Covid-19, doctors say.

Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia Datuk Dr Kuljit Singh said vaccination not only lowers the incidence of influenza, but also reduces the severity of symptoms and hospitalisation days caused by the infection, all of which are crucial for these workers.
