MCO: Police to close five roads, set up seven roadblocks in Hulu S'gor

PETALING JAYA: Police in Hulu Selangor will be setting up seven roadblocks and closing five roads as the movement control order (MCO) enters its third phase.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Arsad Kamarudin said starting Wednesday (April 15), roadblocks would be set up at the Tanjung Malim, Lembah Beringin, Sungai Buaya, Bukit Tagar, and Bukit Beruntung toll plazas, as well as KM4 of the Ulu Yam-Sungai Tua stretch and KM34 of the Ipoh-Kuala Lumpur stretch.

Meanwhile, the five roads in Hulu Selangor which will be closed to traffic are Jalan Utama Persiaran Kemboja, Jalan Kemboja 4A, Jalan Seroja 3A, Jalan Seroja 3B and Jalan Kasturi.

Motorists can use Jalan Utama Lingkaran Kemboja and Jalan Utama Seroja as alternative routes.

"We advise the public to always adhere to the MCO for as long as it is enforced," Supt Arsad said.

The public can also contact the Hulu Selangor Covid-19 hotline at 03-6064 1222 if they have any questions about the MCO.
