Only green zones may make the cut

Pending approval: Barbers and hair salons located in ‘green zones’ may be allowed to operate under the third phase of the MCO.

PETALING JAYA: Barbers and hair salons located in “green zones” may be allowed to operate under the third phase of the movement control order (MCO) but the final decision lies with the International Trade and Industry Ministry, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said just because a sector was included in the list of businesses allowed to operate during the MCO period, this did not mean that it could automatically reopen.
