Child actress tests positive for Covid-19

A CHILD actress is among several cast and crew members of Demi who are down with Covid-19 after returning from filming the drama series in Scotland.

Puteri Rayyana Rayqa, six, and her mother who accompanied her during the shoot, tested positive for the virus, Harian Metro reported.

Her mother, identified only as Syira, said that this was a test from God for her family.

Syira said that during their time in Scotland, the production crew was constantly reminding each other to take care of their health and to maintain high hygiene standards.

“What’s important now is my daughter and I just want to be healthy. I hope that others won’t think negatively of us. We didn’t ask for this to happen. Please pray for our recovery, ” she said.

Berita Harian reported that another actress of the drama, Puteri Aishah, had begun treatment after she was tested positive as well.

Her manager Iman Tang shared about Puteri’s condition on Instagram.

“Thank goodness, Puteri looks healthy. She managed to send a photo and informed us she’s on the way to Hospital Sungai Buloh, ” she wrote.
