What ban? Hikers defy movement order

Hikers arriving at the gates to find the Cherok To'kun Forest Reserve park closed before proceeding to hike up separate trails through the oil palm plantation nearby.

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Hikers continue to trek up Cherok To'kun Forest Reserve despite the park being closed to visitors under the movement control order (MCO).

They have found trails through the oil palm estates to bypass the park's main entrance to access the jungle up the hill.
