Alarming: Dentists face shortage of face masks, says dental association


PETALING JAYA: Dentists in the private sector have been experiencing a shortage in surgical face masks since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country, says the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA).

The MDA council in a statement on Tuesday (March 17) said a survey conducted among its members revealed that almost half of 2,500 private dental clinics in the country would run out of surgical face masks by the end of April.
