Health Ministry: Nine new Covid-19 cases, bringing tally to 158


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has recorded nine new positive Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number to 158.

"One of the new cases is related to the religious gathering in Sri Petaling," said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic).

He said the Health Ministry is rigorously tracing those who attended the event.

"If anyone attended the event, please call the CPRC hotline or the nearest district health office," he said.

Dr Noor Hisham also said that six patients were discharged on Thursday (March 12).

So far, 32 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Malaysia.
