He also visited his parent's graves at his hometown in Muar, Johor.

The new Prime Minister, who took the oath of office on Sunday (March 1), arrived at Bakri Batu 1 Muslim Cemetery here at 12.20pm accompanied by his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman.

He then proceeded to the graves of his parents, the well-known cleric late Muhammad Yassin Mohamad and Khadijah Kasimmm where he was seen reciting prayers at the graves.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet with Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador at 4.30pm, followed by Armed Forces Chief General Tan Sri Affendi Buang an hour later.
