Thomas resigns from AG post

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Tommy Thomas (pic) has resigned as the Attorney General (AG) amidst the current political turmoil.

A source at the Attorney General’s Chambers said Thomas handed in his resignation letter to interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad yesterday evening.It is learnt that he also cancelled an appearance on a TV talk show at the eleventh hour yesterday.
