IPOH: The Perak state administration is maintaining its status quo, according to several politicians from the state.
Nizar said Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia was officially still the Mentri Besar.
"If assemblymen from Bersatu quit Pakatan, then the situation would be different.
"For now the state administration runs with the Mentri Besar, as well all the state executive councillors," he added.
Perak PKR vice-chairman Baldip Singh said, so far, the stand at state level was to maintain the status quo but added that they had yet to meet with Bersatu assemblymen regarding the matter.
"Hopefully, in a day or two, we will have a meeting with the state Pakatan council members as well.
"It is important to sit down and discuss issues before making any decision. However, we will wait until the Malay Rulers meet with the Yang-di-Pertuan Agong tomorrow (Feb 28)," he said.
