GEORGE TOWN: The position of two of the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) assemblyman in the state will remain after they pledged their support to the state government.

This was decided after both Bertam assemblyman Khaliq Mehtab Mohd

Chow's political secretary Teh Lai Heng in a statement said both the assemblymen pledged their support to the state government and the Chief Minister.

"As such, the Chief Minister said it would be status quo for the assemblymen until further developments at the federal level."
