KOTA KINABALU: A Mat Rempit was sentenced to a year’s jail and fined RM5,000 by the Magistrate's Court in Tawau for riding his motorcycle recklessly and causing danger to road users.
Choong Chee Wei, 20, pleaded guilty to the charge read to him before Tawau High Court deputy registrar Amir Shah Amir Hassan on Wednesday (Feb 26).
