Selangor Amanah chief: Everything is 'under control'

SHAH ALAM: Everything is "under control" in Selangor, says state Amanah chief Izham Hashim (pic).

"Selangor is all good, there's no problem," said Izham adding that the audience with Sultan Sharafuddin had gone smoothly.

The Pandan Indah assemblyman said this on Tuesday (Feb 25) after leaving Istana Bukit Kayangan here, following an audience with state ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

He had joined Selangor DAP chairman Gobind Singh Deo and Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari.

Meanwhile, Amirudin merely waved to waiting journalists without stopping to speak when he exited the palace gates at 11.00am.

It is believed that he will be meeting the state's assemblymen at his official residence this afternoon to brief them about his audience with Sultan Sharafuddin.

The three had arrived for an audience with Sultan Sharafuddin at 9am.

According to sources from the state government, the purpose of the visit was to brief Sultan Sharafuddin on the latest situation, and how it does or does not affect Selangor.
