Anwar calls for review of Sosma detainees

PETALING JAYA: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called for a review of those detained and charged under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma), including those detained for allegedly supporting the Islamic State.

“I urge that a review of the cases be carried out immediately with the same consideration given to them as what was done for the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) cases,” he told reporters after an event in Bangi yesterday.
